Thank you Sara! Yes, the reinvention isn't the easiest of sorts and so some celebrating along the way doesn't hurt. So I appreciate you helping me in that endeavor :)
Wow! What a wide and deep reach this interview makes about the complex process of personal transformation after 50. I kept slapping the table beside me, shouting "Yes!" and I'm STILL in the process of transformation having lost my home and everything I ever owned to a wildfire at age 70 in the midst of Covid. Thank you both for this substantive truth-telling.
WOW indeed Meri Arron Walker! I marvel at the human spirit and all that it/we must endure it our lives and try to keep going. As indicated above, it's only post 50 that I feel like I know a few important questions in life - and how to answer some of them.
My dear brother lost his inlaw apartment in the fires in Cali a few years back. Thank God my parents weren't living in it at the time and he was able to save his house. The paint on his house bubbled so I don't how he came out with his house intact. A few family heirlooms were lost but as we know - life is more important than objects. I hope I have told a fair bit of "substantive truth-telling".
That is an interesting dynamic in my line of work. For what it is worth MAW, sending you a bit love and positive vibes for the continued mind/body/spirit journey--and I do think it is worth something by the way. lol :)
I am so sorry to hear your brother lost his inlaw apartment in the fires, Bronce. It must have been so devastating. I'm glad he was able to rescue some heirlooms...
Thank you Keith! - I'm just glad he was fine along with his children and wife. Heirlooms, many of which can't be replaced - don't replace what matters most in life.
My key takeaway here is, and it is also how I operate in general and how I advise our clients to do, the willingness to accept change and embrace it and having the necessary intuition to become adaptable to anything life brings your way. Even in relationships, if your star sign is not very compatible with your partner's sign, you can adapt so that you complement each other and fit each other like a glove. It would bring about and catalyze the essence of harmony. Thanks for sharing this valuable information!
Wow, what an in-depth explanation of some of the things I have experienced in my life.
With Dr. Bronce Rice's broad and deep understanding, I reckon there is so much information in this Substack post to last me several weeks of thinking about, reflecting about and creating a list of things I need to focus on.
Thank you for taking the time to read it Keith :) I appreciate it more than you know. Yeah the irony/joke is it only took me 50 + years to figure these things out. Now it's going to take the next 50 + years to "perfect them" and we both know there is no such thing a perfection.
Wonderful post about reinvention, congratulations to both!

Absolutely! Reinvention can be challenging, but every step forward is worth celebrating. I’m so glad to be part of your journey, cheers to you! 😊

Hi Merlii,
I am so sorry for your loss of your home and everything you owned. That is so so sad. To go through all that during COVID must have been awful.
I'm sending you positive vibes and strength to power through and succeed... You deserve it!

Ha ha...
Life is short... and 50 years went by so quickly...
Did you experience every moment... and can you recall the main parts?
I sometimes think about my life and try and remember how I got to where I am today.
Just being with that thought is ... Yeah, tricky... especially during a meditation session.
A comprehensive study of searching true self.

I hope you coin this phrase and write a book with the same title!
Thank you 🙏
