Recommendation “broken” hack: I used to get a number of subscribers from recommendations, but something happened a few months ago, where now I get “followers” instead. Is there a hack to revert back?
Me too. I wondered if when I got recommendations at first it was because readers hadn't seen me before, but after a while anyone who is likely to subscribe, already has subscribed.
But I used to get a lot of recommendations, now I get hardly any.
Thanks for the helpful post. Much appreciated!
I appreciate your comment.
This was such a helpful article for a new-ish Substacker. Thanks for the tips.
I appreciate your comment.
Thanks for this. Will update my banner asap ☺️
Awesome! 🙂 👍
Some great stuff here thanks! 🙏
I appreciate all the ways I can add value to my subscribers! I am going to try a poll next time! Thank you for this!
Polls are great, as they give you better insights and data than time-consuming research. And so easy to make on Substack.
Love this Jerry. You’ve inspired me to create a new header 😊.
That's awesome, Gail! The new header is so simple and effective. Think of this like your personal brand billboard.
It does feel like a billboard. Yay me 🎉
Nice to know! Thanks for sharing.
Great post. I've never done a poll before, so I'll have a go at one this week.
Thanks, Wendy! I would love to hear how it goes for you.

I have never heard of that. The best way to solve this would be to ask Substack directly.
